Welcome and thanks for dropping in to visit the web home of the Comstock Cemetery Foundation. Because of its significance to mining history, the Comstock was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1961.  Since 1961 the cemeteries of the Comstock have made a valuable contribution to the history of the Comstock Lode.
